Access to the car park
The main public car park is accessed from Howlands.
Parking
There is a 20-minute drop-off zone outside the Urgent Care Centre and Howlands Clinic entrances for people who aren’t able to walk very far and we have reserved spaces for people displaying a blue badge within the main car park.
The New QEII features a pay-on-exit car park when charging. Users will receive a ticket upon entering the car park, which they will need to use to pay with before leaving. The pay point is situated next to the main hospital entrance. The pay point accepts cash and card payments.
Parking Charges
- 0 – 15 minutes, in drop-off zones only, free of charge
- 0 – 2 hours £3.40
- 2 – 5 hours £5.30
- 5 – 24 hours £7.70
Parking charges apply 24 hours a day from September 1, 2020, but there is free parking for blue badge holders – please validate your ticket at reception if you are a blue badge holder.
Motorbike parking
We have some motorbike parking spaces available free of charge.
