East and North Hertfordshire Teaching NHS Trust has appointed Martin Armstrong as its new chief executive, subject to approval of terms and conditions. The appointment follows a rigorous recruitment process.
Martin has been a leader at the organisation for the past 10 years, as the trust’s deputy chief executive and chief finance officer. He brings more than 25 years’ experience in senior leadership roles across the NHS.
During his time at the trust, Martin has played a key role in strengthening its performance and financial position, and has been closely involved in driving improvements to services and patient outcomes.
As chief executive, he will build on these strong foundations, with a continued focus on delivering high-quality care, improving services for patients and working closely with partners across the health and care system.
