Dr Takon has Special interest in Neurodisability, Epilepsy and ADHD. Dr Takon runs a weekly Joint ADHD (Paediatrics and CAMHS) clinic in Hertford County Hospital along with the Specialist ADHD Nurse. Dr Takon leads the ADHD Service in East Herts.
Dr Takon has a Special interest in Epilepsy and runs Epilepsy Clinics in QE II Hospital and the Special schools (Lakeside and Amwell View School). Dr Takon also runs regular clinics in Epilepsy and Neurology with the Visiting Neurologist from Addenbrookes.
Dr Takon runs weekly General Neurodisability clinics in Hertford County Hospital. Referrals to this clinic are accepted for children living in Cheshunt, Broxbourne and Turnford area.
Dr Takon is actively involved in Teaching and research within the department.
